The only Statesponsored body under the aegis of my Department which has received proposals towards the introduction of worker participation in decision making is Cómhlucht Siúicre Éireann Teoranta. I understand that these proposals have been put forward by the CSET group staff association. They envisage a restructuring of the board of the company to provide seats on the board for the elected representatives of the work force and the creation of appropriate election machinery. These proposals are, I understand, the subject of discussion at present between the board and representatives of the group staff association.
