My Department's concern with the environment arises in relation to practically all aspects of its activities including, in particular, the pollution monitoring activities carried out by the meteorological service and my general responsibility for the development of the tourist industry.
While there are no specific officers of my Department charged with the sole function of dealing with the environment, the Department as an entity give due consideration to environmental factors.
