asked the Minister for Education when he intends to recognise teachers' service abroad for the purpose of paying incremental salary.

There are some types of teaching service abroad which are recognised for incremental salary purposes. The question of extending the scope of these arrangements is under consideration and I shall make a statement in the matter as soon as possible.
