When does the Minister think he will be in a position to reply to these submissions and requests?

Negotiations on this particular matter will take some time. I will not be able to give the Deputy any easy or early favourable answer to this question.
Is the Minister aware of my difficulty in understanding why a simple matter like this should take a long time to decide?

The Deputy can be assured of my determination to do all I can to see these are increased at the earliest possible opportunity. The Deputy will understand that the provision of money is quite a difficult exercise in that situation.
