A grant was sanctioned in 1972 towards the cost of erecting a new school to replace Naas Convent of Mercy National School. The manager's architect in consultation with the Office of Public Works has since been making the necessary arrangements for the erection of the school.
I understand that the Commissioners of Public Works advised the manager in connection with the acceptance of a tender for the contract for the building.
