(Cavan): This matter is being considered in the context of pending wildlife legislation.
I understand that people in the southern part of the country consider that the badger is harmful to other forms of wildlife while in the west it is considered a harmless animal. Can the Minister state if the badger is harmful to other forms of wildlife?
