CIE have no plans under consideration for replacement of the m.v. Naomh Éanna. This vessel was built specially for the Galway/ Aran Islands service in 1958. I understand that CIE are in consultation with Roinn na Gaeltachta at present about transport services to the Gaeltacht Islands generally.
