I understand that the Industrial Development Authority are acquiring a site of eight and a half acres for industrial development in Castleisland, and that negotiations for an industry with an employment potential of 70 men are at a very advanced stage. The details will be announced as soon as possible.

As the Deputy is no doubt aware, the industrial Development Authority recently announced details of new industries in Tralee which will employ 240 people. The authority, at my request, are actively seeking additional industries for the town, and have recently purchased a 25-acre site to promote future development.
