Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kilkenny Excavations.
21.
Mr. Kenny
It is not intended at present to arrange a public exhibition of the artifacts found during the archaeological excavations at Kells Priory, County Kilkenny, which will continue for a number of years.
Would the Parliamentary Secretary listen favourably to representations from local interests seeking an exhibition of the artifacts in a suitable place, such as Rothe House?
Mr. Kenny
Favourable consideration would be given to this matter. However, so far as can be ascertained all the artifacts have not been found yet.
Would the Parliamentary Secretary consider having this exhibition during the European Architectural Heritage Year, 1975?
Mr. Kenny
Yes, that may be considered.
