The discussions which have been undertaken by AnCO on the proposals for changes in the present apprenticeship system outlined in the document "Apprenticeship—A New Approach" are now almost completed. I expect that AnCO will be submitting proposed guidelines for a new apprenticeship system to the Minister later this year.
