The amount paid by my Department for official entertainment at which I was host during the year ended 31st March, 1973, was £1,005.
The cost of journeys which I myself made outside the State during the year in question was £583. The cost of journeys outside the State made by officials of my Department during the year in question was £30,415, mainly in connection with training courses abroad, international conferences, inspections of stores and equipment, et cetera.
Did the Minister say 1973 in reply to the first part of my question?
That is what it says here but I take it that must be a misprint and that it should have been 1974. I apologise to the Deputy.
