asked the Minister for Transport and Power if there is any evidence to show the presence of radioactive fall-out in the atmosphere over the greater Dublin area.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Radioactive Fall-out.
24.
The Meteorological Service monitors radioactive fall-out at a number of locations throughout the country including Dublin city. Current levels of radioactivity are fairly uniform over the country as a whole, levels in the Dublin area being no higher than elsewhere. The overall levels show very large decreases since 1963 when the effects of nuclear testing in the atmosphere produced high levels of radioactive fall-out in this country.
