asked the Minister for Finance if any survey has been undertaken recently into the condition of the promenade sea wall at Bray, County Wicklow; and, if so, the results of this survey, the action envisaged and the money allocation that will be made to implement the results.

The Commissioners of Public Works have received a proposal under the Coast Protection Act, 1963 from Wicklow County Council for coast protection works at Bray promenade sea wall. The statutory preliminary examination in respect of this proposal has not yet been carried out and having regard to prior commitments under this Act I cannot say when the Bray proposal is likely to be reached.
