Protection of Young Persons (Employment) Bill, 1974: First Stage.

May I ask the Minister if this Bill is intended to deal with minimum wages for young people?
It is intended to deal with the protection of young persons by regulating their conditions of employment. It will be circulated during the Recess and it will set down hours of work and matters of that kind.
What about remuneration?
The matter of remuneration is left to normal negotiations. As the Bill will be circulated during the Recess, I presume the Second Stage will be taken during the first week the Dáil returns.
