It is not my practice to intervene in the ordinary operations of Irish Steel Holdings, Ltd., and I do not consider that it would be appropriate for me to reveal the information requested which is of a confidential commercial nature.
Would the Minister check on this, because my information is that it is on the decline and that could have very serious consequences and would be a sign of the deterioration in the erection of haybarns and other structures requiring the use of iron and galvanised steel. Would the Minister keep an eye on this?
