Vol. 275 No. 3

Written Answers. - Meath Land Commission Application.

538.

asked the Minister for Lands when an application by a person (name supplied) in County Meath will be cleared by the Land Commission; and if, in view of the fact that the application was first made in July, 1973, he will state the reason for the delay in dealing with the case.

The lands in question comprise a Land Commission allotment which was vested in the allottees shortly after the subdivision application referred to was lodged. While the Land Commission have no objection to the proposed subdivision, the issue of the necessary letter of consent has been delayed pending lodgment in the Land Registry of the documents required for the registration of the holding.

I understand that the main difficulty has been due to a printing delay which has now been resolved and it is hoped that the matter will, as far as the Land Commission is concerned, be concluded at an early date.
