Proposals for a new subvention structure for CIE to comply with the provisions of EEC regulations governing State aids to transport undertakings, including Regulation No. 1191/69 have been submitted to the EEC Commission. It is intended that the new arrangements for the subvention of CIE will come into effect on 1st January, 1975.
