asked the Minister for Education if he is aware that the headmaster of a vocational school (details supplied) has now been suspended for well over a year; that he has not been paid during that period; if he considers it just that this situation should obtain; if he will explain why he appeared to remain inactive in the matter despite repeated requests including several from Deputy Seán Flanagan; and if he will now take whatever action is necesssary to bring to finality all questions relative to the position in the school, particularly that of the headmaster.

The case to which the Deputy refers is the subject of a local inquiry which was ordered by me under the provisions of the Vocational Education Acts.
