There is evidence that prejudice of the kind referred to by the Deputy exists among a small minority of Dublin employers. The National Manpower Service of my Department endeavours to counter this unfair discrimination wherever possible and to help young people who may be so affected.
In addition to the work of the National Manpower Service my programme of anti-discrimination legislation will include measures to deal with this problem.
