The board of the Cork Regional Technical College has already been appointed by the City of Cork Vocational Education Committee in accordance with an agreement which was implemented for such colleges generally in 1969. This agreement did not envisage the appointment of representatives, as such, of county councils and it would not be practicable to amend the agreement at this stage.
