I assume that the Deputy is referring to the Irish Theatre Company. This company was established in March last. Since then arrangements have been finalised for the inauguration of two seasons comprising four productions to be presented by the company in the spring and autumn of this year. It is primarily a touring company and during the spring season, which will last 13 weeks, 18 centres outside Dublin will be visited and four weeks will be spent at the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin. The first performance of the company will take place in Cork on February 25th. A State grant of £100,000 is being provided for the company in 1975.
