Until the dental services now available to children attending national schools have been brought to an adequate level, it is not proposed to extend these services to post primary students. Steps will continue to be taken by health boards, as resources permit, to improve the existing dental services for school children. It is not yet possible to say when it will be feasible to extend the services to post primary school children.
