Vol. 278 No. 6

Ceisteanna-Questions. Oral Answers. - County Wicklow School.

23.

asked the Minister for Education when work on the extension to St. Mary's national school, Enniskerry, County Wicklow will begin; and the extension that has been decided upon.

Mr. R. Burke

I understand that the reverend manager of St. Mary's national school, Enniskerry, has commissioned an architect to prepare plans for the extension of the school building as approved by my Department and that the preliminary arrangements for the project are in hands. The extension will consist in the conversion of the existing school building, which has three classrooms into a school having eight classrooms —an ancillary accommodation.

I am not in a position at this stage to say when building work may commence.
