The selection and recommendation to the Dublin Port and Docks Board of a person for appointment to the post of general manager is a matter for the Local Appointments Commissioners who recently invited applications for the vacancy.
The closing date for receipt of applications is 26th March, 1975.
Have the Government yet sanctioned the salary scale for the post?
I understand the agreement of the Port and Docks Board to the salary scale was obtained on 14th January last.
