Tenders for the erection of the proposed new central primary school in Letterkenny have been received and examined in the Office of Public Works. Owing to the big volume of school building work on hands I am not in a position to say at present when this building will commence.
Does the Minister agree that the contractor has been notified that he has got the contract?

The commissioners are now in a position to seek the local contribution and when the contribution is lodged a tender can——
In other words the contractor has been appointed but there is no money to build the school.

It will take its place on the normal priority list.
