asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he will arrange for payment of a farmyard grant to a person (name supplied) in County Cork under the Farm Modernisation Scheme.
Local officers of my Department are currently in touch with the applicant and assuming that the works are completed satisfactorily the grant will be paid without delay.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he will arrange for payment of a farmyard grant in respect of a farm lean-to to a person (name supplied) in County Cork before the completion of a slurry pit, in view of the fact that a separate application was made for it.
In the particular circumstances of this case the payment of grant for the lean-to is conditional on proper facilities for slurry storage being provided. As soon as these facilities are satisfactorily completed, the grant will be paid.
