I take it that the Deputy is referring to the reported statement of Mr. Peter Katjavivi, the West European Representative of the South West Africa People's Organisation during his recent visit to this country. Mr. Katjavivi made no formal request to the Government for the training of Namibians. However, should a request for training be received, the Government will be happy to give it favourable consideration.
