In the absence of more precise details as to the workers or firms involved I cannot say if the question of special signing arrangements arises. I presume, however, that the question relates to entitlement to unemployment benefit in respect of a period which would normally have been an annual holiday period. This would, of course, be a matter for decision by a deciding officer or on appeal by an appeals officer. If the persons concerned have not already claimed unemployment benefit I would suggest that they should do so without delay in order that the question of their entitlement can be determined in accordance with the statutory procedure.
