Capital Gains Tax Bill, 1974: Allocation of Time.

I move:

That in the case of the Capital Gains Tax Bill, 1974 and notwithstanding anything to the contrary in Standing Orders the proceedings on the remaining Stages of the Bill, if not previously concluded, shall be brought to a conclusion as follows:—

(1) at 9.45 p.m. on Tuesday, 8th July, 1975 the proceedings shall be interrupted (and if the House is in Committee the Dáil shall resume) and the Question shall be put from the Chair that all amendments set down by the Minister for Finance for the Fourth Stage, including any requiring Recommittal and not yet disposed of, are hereby made to the Bill and Recommittal and Fourth Stages are hereby completed;

(2) the Fifth Stage shall be proceeded with immediately upon the conclusion of the Fourth Stage and if the proceedings on the Fifth Stage have not already concluded by 10.15 p.m. on that day the Question shall be put forthwith "That the Bill do now pass".
