Vol. 283 No. 4

Employment Premium Bill, 1975: First Stage.

Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to enable the Minister for Labour to make, by means of a scheme to be known as the Premium Employment Programme, payments to employers engaged in certain manufacturing industries for the purpose of encouraging employment, and to provide for other matters connected with the aforesaid matter.
—(Minister for Labour).

When is it proposed to take the next Stage?

When will it be circulated? I take it that we will not be taking it before we see it?

The Deputy may take it that the Bill will be circulated next week.

When will the Second Stage be taken?

Can the Minister for Labour be more specific as regards what the Bill contains?

That will all be part of the Second Stage.

Second Stage ordered for Wednesday, 9th July, 1975.
