asked the Minister for Local Government the grants allocated and the amounts paid to each local authority in the financial periods 1972-73, 1973-74, 1974 and 1975 under (a) local improvement schemes and (b) amenity grant schemes.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Authority Grant Allocations.
The allocations to local authorities under the amenity grant scheme for the years 1972-73, 1973-74 and 1974—nine months ending 31st December, 1974—were given in reply to a question from the Deputy on 11th June, 1974. No provision has been made for any new grant allocations in 1975 but a sum has been included in my Department's Vote to cover payment of balance of grants allocated and still outstanding.
The allocations to local authorities under the local improvements scheme for 1972-73, 1973-74 and 1974—nine months—were given in reply to a question from Deputy Faulkner on 13th February, 1975. The allocations for 1975 were given in reply to a question from Deputy Leonard on 19th March, 1975.
Payments made under the amenity grant scheme and the local improvements scheme for the years 1972-73, 1973-74 and 1974—nine months—and payments made under the local improvements scheme to the 30th June this year are set out in a tabular statement and I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate it with the Official Report.
Following is the statement:
