AnCO estimates that the total number of apprentices taken into employment in the designated trades in the year ended 30th September, 1975 was 1,900. The precise figure for the year is not yet available as registration has not yet been completed.
The comparable figures for the years ended 30th September, 1974 and 30th September, 1973 were 2,406 and 1,947 respectively.
