I have been informed by the Industrial Development Authority that since the Ballybofey advance factory was completed it has been vigorously promoted for industry and the authority arranged for visits to the factory by various industrialists. Despite the efforts made it has not been possible, so far, to secure a project for the factory and accordingly the authority recently decided to lease the factory to AnCO as a training centre for a temporary period of one year. In the meantime the authority will continue its efforts to find a suitable industry for the factory.
