During the past year An Coimisiúin Dumpála have investigated allegations of dumping of footwear, textiles and clothing and found that there was a threat of injurious dumping in the case of blouses made from synthetic fabrics imported from the Republic of Korea (South Korea). The Government accepted the recommendation made by An Coimisiún Dumpála and imposed an anti-dumping duty of 40 per cent ad valorem which took effect from the 18th July, 1975.
