Vol. 288 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Housing.

14.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he granted planning permission for a housing development at Ballypaudeen, Cashel, County Tipperary; to whom the permission was granted; and the grounds on which the appeal was allowed.

On the 13th November, 1974, the Tipperary South Riding County Council decided to refuse to grant an outline permission to John Ryan, Parnell Street, Clonmel, for the erection of 20 houses on the site. An appeal against this decision was received on the 2nd December, 1974. All the planning aspects of the proposal were carefully examined and considered and it was decided that a development of not more than ten houses on the site would not be contrary to the proper planning and development of the area. An order granting outline permission accordingly was made on the 30th May, 1975.
