asked the Minister for Health if he has received any reports about alleged irregularities in the administration of St. Joseph's Mental Hospital, Limerick; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Allegations of irregularities in the administration of the farm attached to St. Joseph's Hospital, Limerick were considered recently by the Mid-Western Health Board and, at a special meeting held on Friday last, 28th May, 1976, the board called for a public sworn inquiry to be held into these allegations. I received yesterday a report from the board following this meeting and a request for the holding of the inquiry. Until I have considered this report and request, it would not be appropriate for me to make any statement on the matter.
When will the Minister make a decision on this matter?
As I said, I received the report only yesterday and I have not even read it yet. Whatever decision is reached will be given quickly.
