I assume that the Deputy is referring to the Water Pollution Advisory Council. This is a nonstatutory body which I set up in February, 1975, to advise me on matters relating to my functions and responsibilities concerning control of water pollution. Accordingly, it was not envisaged that the council would produce any report for general publication. I expect, however, that before it is superseded by the statutory body envisaged in the Water Pollution Bill, the present council will wish to report formally to me reviewing its activities since it was established.
