No rented van is being operated from Galway head post office but my Department's engineering branch is at present using five rented vans in Galway in lieu of vehicles which have been taken out of service and for which replacements are awaited.

Since 1974 the total additions to my Department's motor transport fleet in Galway city consisted of three vans for postal purposes.
