I do not have any proposals for the control of pharmaceutical chemists. The possibility of certain controls being exercised has been discussed at a joint working party representative of the pharmaceutical profession and my Department but no proposals have yet been submitted to me for consideration.
Would the Parliamentary Secretary ensure that they will keep in mind the particular needs of small towns and villages especially in regard to animal medicines should the proposals which were suggested be implemented, that is a reduction of pharmaceutical services?
I have been sitting in on some of those discussions and what the Deputy is talking about is very near to my heart also.
