Arrangements for the accommodation of gardaí on tours of duty are part of the internal administration of the force and, in the normal course, I would not be prepared to give details regarding them. However, as a courtesy to the Deputy and without establishing a precedent I can say that I have been informed by the Garda authorities that adequate shelter facilities are available for members manning this checkpoint.
