The number of persons who left full-time education in 1975 is estimated as follows: 1st level 2,000, 2nd level 41,700, 3rd level 9,300. It is not possible at this stage to provide an estimate of school leavers for 1977. The estimate for 1976 is as follows: 1st level: 1,900, 2nd level: 45,900, 3rd level: 10,000.
Note: The figures in relation to 1976 represent a revision in the light of more up-to-date stock and flow data of an earlier estimate for that year.
