asked the Minister for Social Welfare the present position in relation to the application for a non-contributory old age pension by a person (name supplied) in County Kerry.
A non-contributory old age pension at the rate of £4.75 a week with effect from 7th October, 1977, has been provisionally awarded to the person concerned pending receipt of the decision of the local pension committee. The claimant's holding is being transferred and when the deed of transfer has been duly stamped the question of the claimant's entitlement to a higher rate of pension will be examined.
