My Department have received representations regarding a shortage of second-level places in the Beaumont area, which adjoins Artane. Additional accommodation has already been provided in the case of two secondary schools and extensions to another two schools have recently been sanctioned.
My Department are at present carrying out a survey of the Beaumont Donnycarney/Artane area with a view to determining what further second-level school accommodation may be required.
