asked the Minister for the Gaeltacht the proposals he has to promote much needed industry and/or home craft in the Dunlewy Gaeltacht, County Donegal; and if he is aware of the large number of young people in this isolated community who have no prospects of employment and whose continued presence in the valley is essential to maintain the existence of the community, and that failure to provide job opportunities in the area is contributing to the fall in population with serious implications for the future existence of the whole community.

asked the Minister for the Gaeltacht why four families (names supplied) in the Dunlewy area of County Donegal were disallowed Deontas Gaeltacht, in view of the fact that all families are competent in the Gaelic language and speak it in their homes.
