I understand that the Land Commission have recently instituted proceedings for the compulsory acquisition of the property referred to and that an objection to acquisition is pending for determination. Until the objection has been disposed of it is not possible to say what further action, if any, may be taken in regard to the lands.

The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of the property referred to but they will have inquiries made in the matter.
