I am sorry to have to intervene at this stage. I regret to have to say that earlier today there was a misunderstanding about item No. 1 on the Order Paper. I move:
That the proceedings this morning in relation to the Companies (Amendment) Bill, 1977, be null and void and that the amendments agreed to by Seanad Éireann be considered on Tuesday next, 6th December.
Deputy Kelly and I were under the misapprehension, having looked at the Order Paper, that all that was involved was simply a change of title. However, it has transpired that a number of amendments have come back from the Seanad, and this House should have an opportunity to discuss them fully.
