asked the Minister for Education (1) if a request for school transport to Shinrone National School, Shinrone, County Offaly, has been received from a family (names supplied on behalf of their children in County Offaly; (2) if he is aware that these children are 2.6 miles from Shinrone School and over four miles from Cloughjordan school and of the danger of having two children aged eight and four-and-a-half years walking on this road; (3) if he is aware that the bus comes within 200 yards of this family's home, that no inconvenience of any kind to the present bus service would be caused were transport to be provided for the children and that the bus up to last March passed their house; and (4) if school transport will be provided in this case.
