As I indicated in reply to an earlier question I am making arrangements to have the cheap fuel scheme fully reviewed at the end of the present season. The recommendations made by the National Social Service Council will be considered in the context of this review.
Is it the Minister's intention to introduce the new scheme he has in mind for the coming autumn?
Probably. It is my intention to try to have this situation reviewed in some depth because there are a number of different factors. In addition, I have received unanimous recommendations from the Dublin Corporation committee concerned to go over to a voucher scheme.
