The oil exploration agreement, concluded on 13 January 1959 between the Minister for Industry and Commerce and Marathon's predecessors, Ambassador Oil Corporation, was presented to the Oireachtas on 14 January 1959. An amending agreement between the Minister and Marathon dated 30 July 1969 was presented to the Oireachtas on 8 August 1969. Both documents are available for inspection in the Dáil Library.
I wish to have Question No. 24 postponed and to ask when the Minister who, I understand, is on a trade promotion mission, can be expected here to answer questions.
He is expected home tomorrow.
