The serving organising inspectors in the Primary Branch of the Department, with two exceptions, were, by agreement, assimilated into the grade of district post-primary inspector in February 1976. The question as to the consequential arrangements for the filling of vacancies which existed in the grade of organising inspector is at present under consideration.
